Christmas Shower Curtains & Accessories

Christmas Shower Curtains & Bath Accessories for the Holidays

Sammy_2
Yep!  It's that time of year again when we start thinking about the holidays and our home decorations.  More and more people are starting to not only decorate their living rooms but also their kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms.  It not only looks great but it really does make you feel better!  I remember a few years ago a friend asking if I was decorating my kitchen; I said besides putting out some holiday place mats and kitchen towels? I doubt it, I'll be lucky to get my tree trimmed!  Anyway, I decided to go all out and put lights in my kitchen with some garland, bought a small artificial tree and decorated it with cookie cutters, faux vegetables and fruits and miniature kitchen utensil: rolling pins, whisks, forks, can opener etc.  I found them at local craft stores and kitchen stores, they were magnets but I used them as tree ornaments and I finished it off with small candy canes.  That tree was my favorite!  And, I loved spending time in my kitchen with my new decorations and of course that tree!
Last year was my first year I actually decorated the entire guest bathroom with a Christmas shower curtain, hooks, rugs, towels and a lotion pump.  I loved it so much I think I will add a small tree to my counter top with little soaps, brushes and other "bath things"   Last year, a best seller in the bath decor was Sammy Sleigh Bells Shower Curtain and accessories.  The pattern is so adorable with Sammy the snowman and his wildlife friends it's almost sad when you take it down after the holidays.  Of course Gingerbread themed decor is always a hit year after year and the Gingerbread House Shower Curtain and accessories will again, I'm sure, sell out quickly. New for 2007 is Holiday Outhouses with a pattern and theme
perfect for any bathroom!!

Jolly snowman visits an outhouse on a blue starry winter night.  The outhouse themed holiday shower curtain and matching bath towels, hooks and lotion/soap dispenser coordinates well with any style decor including traditional, classic and country.

Regardless of your preference in decor, adding a bit of holiday cheer to your bathroom or powder room gives your entire home a warm and inviting atmosphere.  Whether you choose to hang a Christmas shower curtain or simply display some candles, a lotion pump on the counter and a festive rug on the floor, a few bath towels on a towel bar and a fingertip towel or hand towel by the sink; decorating your bathroom for the holidays doesn't take a lot of time or money but can make a world of difference on how you feel and your outlook of the holidays.

2007 Christmas Decor & Gifts

Christmas Decor for Your Home

Although Thanksgiving is not here, or Halloween for that matter, now is a great time to get your holiday decorations!  Why?  Many of the stores are just stocking up and have the best selection same for online stores.  While it might be hard to think Christmas in October when the weather is almost perfect with the crisp air of Autumn, many of the hottest trends in decorating are available now and as the holidays approach many of the seasonal items you see will be picked over.

So what is HOT this Christmas?

Tapestries
are really making a comeback all across the world and not just for seasonal decorating but for everyday use.  Tapestries for using during the holidays are available in a wide variety of patterns and designs including one's with Santa Claus, Angels, Snowman, Teddy Bears, Christmas Trees to beautiful winter scenes.  What makes wall tapestries so great is they really add dimension to your room and give visual interest while pulling your entire decorating theme together.

  Outdoor Coir Mats Holly_coir_mat_5

More and more people around the country are beginning to decorate not only their front doors but their backdoor as well.  With the choices in door mats it may be hard to decide on just one!  If you like traditional there are plenty of green and red mats to greet your guests.  You will also find whimsical one's that give a hint of the more "silly you" and help break the tension so many people get around the holidays.  Coir mats are a great way to keep the dirt on the mat and out of your house! (The last thing you want to do is shampoo your carpets or mop your floors, again).  A good quality coir mat will be thick and be made of coconut and the best part is they are easy to clean just hose off and your done...now if we could just figure out an easier way to get our tree's up, our windows cleaned...oh well...wishful thinking.

Okay, so you're really not into the whole decorating the entire house this holiday, instead you'd rather break out the egg nog and sit back with a few friends and just enjoy each others company.  Or if you are hosting a family or company party this holiday season decorative drink dispensers are really the "in thing".   I don't recall seeing many of these last year during the tradeshows but this year they were everywhere and my favorite was the jolly snowman, hey, what better way to serve family and friends their favorite beverage than with a Snowman beverage dispenser?  And it adds just the right touch of holiday cheer to your home decor.

Every year there seems to be more and more holiday decorations and seasonal accents to brighten up your home it can be overwhelming.  If you have a theme it is easier to select new decorations but it is also fun to add one or two "trendy" pieces each year to add to your collection.  Some of the favorites  nationwide and across the globe are: Christmas Tree Skirts, Holiday Accent Rugs, Tapestries, along with Bath Accessories, Candles and Candle Holders.  Year after year the list for "what's hot" gets larger but the one's just listed seem to be the preferred choices for 2007.
