Jazz Up Your Home Decor To Include Fall & Halloween Decor

With Summer Over Is Your Home Decor Ready For Fall & Autumn?

Labor Day Weekend is the time everyone enjoys the last hooray of summer and spends the time relaxing or shopping for back to school items.  It is also the time we start to take notice of all the fall decor and decorations on the store shelves and begin to ask ourselves if we should buy something now to bring the fall season into our homes or wait.  I don't know about you but I always wait with the good intention of returning later.  By the time I go back what I wanted is gone and you'd think I'd learn to not procrastinate especially considering I love fall and all of the colors.

Another favorite among many during Autumn is Halloween.  This is the only seasonal holiday, if you will, that allows us to just have fun with our decorating.  Regardless of the style used in the rest of the home, Halloween decorations center around ghosts, witches, goblins and other "creepy" things.  If you do not care for the gross or spooky decor there are still decorations that give your home a seasonal glow.  Door flags are gaining popularity because of their ease of hanging and also for adding a festive curb appeal.  Halloween door flags are available with Jack-O-Lanterns, Conjouring Witch, Enter At Your Own Risk.

WAIT!  Don't Carve That Pumpkin - Dress It Up Instead With Easy To Use Pumpkin Wear

Not Into Door Flags?  That's Okay! How about a clever alternative to carving a pumpkin?  Pumpkin wear is a great way to accessorize either a real pumpkin or a styrofoam one.  Just think, how easy it will be to have a decorated pumpkin to place on your front porch or to include as part of your interior decor...without the mess.   Pumpkins can be dressed up as: witches, spiders, scarecrows or a turkey...how fun!

Add Vivid Color With Wreaths, Swags and Baskets

Of course traditional creations that last the entire fall season include wreaths, swags, decorative baskets that incorporate pumpkins, gourds, leaves and berries all of  which include the gorgeous colors associated with fall.

Baskets, wreaths and swags can be used in any room where you want to add a fresh touch of Autumn.  Try placing a decorative basket on a coffee or side table with a couple candles or use as a centerpiece for your kitchen table or an accent piece on your counter tops.

If you have any unique or decorating tips or ideas you think others would enjoy please feel free to post for others to see.
